In honor of Lauren's 29th birthday I wanted to post some pictures of her at the age her children are now. See if you can see the resemblance in all their cute little faces. Lauren, we are so proud of the beautiful woman of faith, courage, talent and loving mother that you have become. You are a genuinely kind and thoughtful person and a wonderful mother- though there was never any doubt, you always were able to calm any baby! Mt. Whitney Christmas Show 2009. Makenda ended the show singing Bret's favorite Oh Holy Night. Thank you Bret and Amberly for representing the brothers and sisters through all these Choir performances. Only one more to go! We were so glad that Katelyn could be home for this last Christmas show. It made it even more special!

Makenda had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem on January 19th for the AMGEN Tour of CA bicycle race with Lance Armstrong. She was amazing, calm and looked adorable. We are all so proud!

On saturday we went wake boarding on our friend Blaine's boat..we got connections

Nadia, Shane and I couldnt go 3 days without nick so we made a quick trip to see him and and the family in Bozeman...we love Montana..even the buffalo that we saw on the side of the road

so as a family we have been really bad at blogging.. sorry about that. But we can play catch up since february...lets start with makenda seeing as she is the busiest in the family. She finally decided that she liked that Ethan boy.. you know the one with the long hair and charming personality. well they went to sadies(insert gasps here) they had a splendid time and i(Katelyn) will try to find pictures of the dance. also she went on her choir trip and got an amazing award for her solo. if you don't know this is kind of a big deal, it was at Disneyland and there were like 15 choirs there so yay makenda. Then to show off her talent even more she got cast as Cosette in les miserables!!!! We are so proud of her and all she is doing with her amazing voice. Next we have Mom, the busiest one of all. She is in charge of taking makenda every where she needs to go.. so basically she has 2 full time jobs(poor mom). Dad is very busy of course, he always seems to be fixing something broken of someones. im not really sure how he finds time to help everyone, but he does it. Then of course there is Katelyn! don't worry about me, i have just been living in a frozen tundra for the last 4 months. It was a hard semester even though i didnt take classes, i worked a lot so that i can play in the summer! also i would like everyone to come visit!

As you may all know it gets very icy here in Rexburg and you have to be careful when walking down stairs. Well i must not have known this because as i was walking down the stairs the other day holding my beloved mt.dew i fell down the stairs. To make matters worse taylor was behind me laughing his head off. since this day me falling has happened a lot and usually in large groups of people. I probably should wear real shoes, but we all know thats not going to happen. I also recently took a little trip to Bozeman Montana, it was a lot of fun! we found a rope swing and went hookie bobbin'. I really love montana.. maybe one day i will move there, ok probably not.
